Amy Brooks

Amy Lynn Brooks passed away on April 13, 2007 in her parents home in West Sacramento. She was born on May 7, 1970 in Sacramento. Amy is survived by her parents Don and Linda Brooks; her sister, Kay Galberg; her brother, David Brooks; her brother-in-law, Robert Galberg; her sister-in-law, Sylvia Brooks; and her nieces, Jenna Kay Galberg and Caroline Amy Galberg. As a client of Alta Regional Center, Amy lived in her own home in Sacramento with support from Creative Living Options. She loved attending her day program administered by Community Integrated Work Program. Amy especially enjoyed going to the movies, bowling, and eating out with her friends. She loved spending time with her family on Sundays, holidays, and taking trips to Lake Tahoe. Music was her passion. Having endured seizures throughout her life, in lieu of flowers, the family requests any memorial donations be sent in Amy's memory to the Barrow Neurological Foundation, HH Program, 350 W. Thomas Rd., Phoenix, AZ 85013. A private burial will take place at the Davis Cemetery. On Saturday, April 21, 2007 at 2pm, a Memorial Service will be held for family and friends at Trinity Presbyterian Church, 1500 Park Blvd., in West Sacramento.
