Bernice Schrabeck

Bernice M. Schrabeck, 75, of Davis, California passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 16, 2016. She was born on September 12, 1940 in Allamakee, Iowa, the youngest daughter of Alfred and Ruth Welper. Bernice graduated from Waukon High School in 1958 and a few years later met the love of her life, Joseph Schrabeck. They married on August 11, 1962 and started a family in La Crosse, Wisconsin. In 1978, the family moved to Davis, California. Bernice worked in the health care field for over 50 years and in retirement enjoyed travel, classic cars and family. She will be missed dearly, but never forgotten.
Bernice was preceded in death by her parents, Alfred and Ruth Welper, and her beloved husband of 48 years, Joseph Schrabeck. She is survived by her sisters: Lois Evans, Arlene Ritter and Janet Kuhse; her children: Randy Schrabeck, Michelle O'Hair and Rodney Schrabeck; and grandchildren: Matt O'Hair, Leann O'Hair and Garrett Schrabeck.
A service will be held at the Sacramento Valley National Cemetery in Dixon, California.
