Ethel Brown

Ethel Irene Woodland Brown passed away November 16, 2017 at home in Davis, California. Ethel was 96 years old. Ethel was born in Utah, April 25, 1921 and moved to California in 1952 with husband La Vere and children, Kathy, Scott and Blake.

Ethel and family moved to Davis from Salinas, California in 1961. She loved her family and was always doing what was best for them.  For many years she enjoyed riding her bicycle in Davis.

She grew up on a farm and always wanted to have a vegetable garden, fruit trees and of course flowers in her yard. She was most proud of her roses.

She is survived by Kathy Carter, daughter; Blake Brown, son; Karen House, granddaughter; Monica Fuller, granddaughter; Andrew Brown, grandson; Matthew Brown, grandson; 11 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild and numerous nephews and nieces. She is proceeded in death by La Vere Brown, husband; Scott Brown, son; Erma Villet and Ora Bailey, sisters; Reed Woodland, brother; Noah and Libbie Woodland, parents.

Services will be Thursday, November 30, 11 am at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints, 615 Elmwood Drive, Davis, California.
