George DeOrio

February 1, 1928 — November 12, 2009

George DeOrio, former resident of Tarrytown, NY, died peacefully at age 81 on Nov. 12, 2009. Born Feb. 1, 1928 in Brooklyn, New York, he spent over 45 years in the automotive business working in the field of customer service for American Motors Corporation, Renault Corporation, Chrysler Corporation and Biltmore Motors in Rye, NY. George enjoyed working on cars, bike riding, gardening and traveling. He will be missed by his family and friends. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Gloria DeOrio, daughters Laura DeOrio of El Macero, CA, Dolores DeOrio of Lake Peekskill, NY, devoted son-in-laws, David Currane of Lake Peekskill, NY and Gregory Virga of El Macero, CA. A memorial service will be held in Davis, CA on November 22, 2009 at 3:00 P.M.
