Gloria Jean Craig Addiego, aged 91, passed away on May 31, 2018 after a short illness. Born in San Francisco she was the daughter of the late Leslie Francis Craig and Florence O’Leary. A native daughter of the Golden West, Gloria graduated from Lowell High School and City College in San Francisco. Gloria toured as a vocalist with the Ray Anthony Orchestra, resided at the Hollywood Studio Club in the early 1950s, and was lifelong member of the Musician’s Union. After raising her two children, Gloria resumed her singing with the St. Dunstan choir in Millbrae and St. Joseph’s Cathedral choir in San Jose and even travelled to Italy to sing at the Vatican. Gloria loved all animals but especially her two golden retrievers- Saffron and Calypso. Her favorite pastimes included gift store shopping, sending greeting cards, eating ice cream, and drinking champagne!
Gloria is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, John Addiego, her daughter Leslie and son, Kenneth. She was a treasured aunt of Joanne Pence, Loretta Barra, Lewis Lopez, Mark Addiego, Michael Addiego and favorite sister-in-law of Melvin Addiego.
