Henry Timm passed away peacefully at the age of 73 on June 12, 2024. Born to Herman and Eileen Timm, Henry was the eldest of 7 children. When Henry was 4 years old his family moved from Ithaca, NY, to Davis, CA. His family’s New York roots sparked his love for the NY Yankees. In 1967, between his junior and senior year at Davis Senior High School, he played ball with the Philadelphia Phillies’ Summer League in Sacramento, CA. Henry graduated high school in 1968 and enlisted in the US Air Force Reserves, where he learned many trades but excelled as a jet engine mechanic which helped him start his Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) career with Norton Heating and Air. In 2005, Henry retired after 30 years as a HVAC Journeyman from the Northern CA Sheetmetal Local 104.An avid NY Yankees and SF Giants fan, Henry enjoyed playing in Roy Hobbs Senior Baseball League in his 30s and 40s. He also loved target shooting at the Yolo Sportsmen’s Association, tending to his garden and swimming pool, vacationing with his wife, spending time with his grandchildren, and hanging with his Wednesday golf buddies at Davis Golf course for the past 10 years.Henry leaves behind his wife of 28 years, Inez Villanueva; his sons Sean and Matthew Timm; his daughter, Kayla Isaacson; his bonus-daughters, Elena Fewell Howard and Cammie Pugh; and 10 grandchildren. Henry has requested a small memorial service be held at a later date.
