Joseph H. Schrabeck Joe Daddy, 73, of Davis, California, passed away Tuesday, August 18, 2010 at Kaiser Hospital Vacaville. He had been an area resident for over 30 years.
Joe was born March 19, 1937 in La Cross, Wisconsin to Edna M. Bahr and Joseph N. Schrabeck. He loved his Classic cars. 57 Chevys were his passion (Red). He attended Blessed Sacrament in La Crosse, Wisconsin and was an altar boy. Joe is a graduate of Aquinas High School, serve in the U.S. Air Force and was a member of the Elks Lodge.
Joe is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Bernice M. Schrabeck; children: Randy Schrabeck, Shelley OHair (Mike OHair) and Rodney Schrabeck; siblings: Darlene (Thomas) Kleven and Dolores Smith (Barry Smith) and grandchildren: Matthew OHair, Leann OHair and Garrett Schrabeck.
A time of visitation will be held Monday, August 23, 2010 from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. with a Rosary being recited at 7:00 P.M. at Wiscombe Funeral Home, 116 D Street in Davis. A Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, August 24, 2010 at 10:00 A.M. at St. James Catholic Church 1275 B Street in Davis. Interment will follow at Sacramento Valley VA National Cemetery, 5810 Midway Road in Dixon, CA. A reception will follow at the family residence following the interment.
