Lee Jing Chen, 72, of El Macero, passed away at home Friday, April 1, 2011. He had been an area resident for 42 years.
Lee was born April 1, 1939 in Taiwan to I-Wah Lee and Hwa-Si Chen. He was a researcher and professor. Lee enjoyed teaching and watching his grandchildren grow.
Lee is survived by his loving wife, Grace Chao Chen; children: Sumei Yee and Cammy Rieger; siblings: Jimmy Chan, Jolly Lee, Lily Lam and Chean Chen; grandchildren: Bennet Yee, Emily Yee, Elise Yee, Evan Rieger and Aidan Rieger as well as numerous other family members.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, April 9, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. at Davis Cemetery, 820 Pole Line Road. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Lees memory to Davis Chinese Christian Church, 536 Anderson Rd., Davis, CA 95616.
