Surrounded by her family, Lottie Pearl Schellhorn passed away August 20, 2009 at the age of 83.
Born November 27, 1925 in Eureka Springs, AR to Zona and William Scates, she lived the majority of her life in the Dixon and Davis area of Northern California with her wonderful husband, William Schellhorn. They had three children.
Pearl will be remembered by her family and friends as courageous, charismatic, supportive, fostering, determined, perseverant and wonderfully eccentric. She was beautiful.
Pearl was preceded in death by her husband, William Schellhorn; son, Richard Schellhorn; her daughter, Diana Vanetti; granddaughter, Annie Hernandez as well as her great granddaughters: Cora and Jessica Hernandez.
Pearl is survived by her daughter, Theresa Baciarini and her husband, Robert; brothers: Richard and Kenneth Scates; grandchildren: Brooks Vanetti-Marshall and her husband, Fraser; Christina Pender and her husband, Michael; Richard Baciarini and his wife, Marie. Great grandchildren: Corrin Vanetti, Brandon Delliquadri, Robert and Joseph Pender, Anthony Boles and Daniel Hernandez. Special extended family members: Rose, Jose, Kari, Alex, Yanice, Kiara and Jose Jr. Paniagua.
Instead of a funeral, Pearl requested that family and friends take the time to help others in need, be it a person or an animal.
