BOLE, Mable Marie Heath Mable passed away peacefully on November 13, 2008 at the age of 87 in Davis, CA. Born July 5, 1921 in Omaha, NE to Sophie and Herbert Heath. Loving mother of Marcus Bole and wife Charlene of Wheatland, CA, and Spencer Bole and wife Shelley of El Macero, CA. She was blessed with 9 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by her mother and father, her former husband, William Bole, and her beloved daughter Susan Kari Walker. She lived in Carmichael for 43years. She moved to North Hollywood during the depression, attend L.A. City College and Santa Barbara State. Mable was a patriot and enlisted in the Women Marines in March 1943, and was stationed in New Orleans as a recruiting Sgt. She was an active member and past President of the WMA CA-4 in Sacramento since 1965. Mable retired from Sears after 25 years as the head of Merchandise Control. Mable enjoyed writing stories, painting, and being with her family and fellow Women Marines. Family and friends are welcome to attend Visitation at Wiscombes Davis Funeral Chapel, 116 D Street, Davis on Wednesday, November 19, from 3 pm to 5 pm. Internment with military honors will be on Thursday, November 20, 2008, at 10:30 am at Sacramento Valley VA National Cemetery, 5810 Midway Rd Dixon, CA 95620.
