Stacey Marie Speegle-Hernandez died on Friday, Aug. 7, 2009 from the H1N1 "swine flu" virus. She was 30. Ms. Speegle-Hernandez is survived by her daughters Jasmine Hernandez of Madison, and Brianna Hernandez in Winters; son Humberto (Ricky) Hernandez of Madison; parents Tamara and Charles Brooks of Esparto, and Joseph and Beth Speegle of Winters; sister Nichole Cruz and husband Joseph of Yolo, and Candice Cole of Tennessee, and Samantha Brooks of Esparto; brothers Joseph Speegle, and Jason Brooks of Esparto; grandparents Mike and Diane Kelley of Madison, Hazel Speegle of Winters, and Jill Brooks of Davis; nieces Jaime and Mellisa Campos, and Hailey Cruz; nephews Joseph Cruz, and Steven and Louis Campos; cousins Jennifer Kelley and daughter Marrisa; aunts and uncles David and Debbie Gomez, Kathy Clark of Winters, Michael and Ronald Kelley, Denise and James Speegle of Winters, Claude Speegle of Winters; and great-grandfather Tom Dodge of Woodland.
Services: A memorial service is scheduled for 11 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 14, at First Baptist Church of Winters.
