Timothy Gabriel Ramos, 63, passed away on April 5th, 2025, in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
He was born on August 25th, 1961, in San Jose, California
Tim proudly served our Country as a Veteran of the United States Army from 1980 to 1986, stationed in Germany. Upon Tim’s Honorable Discharge, he settled in North Carolina where he called home.
Having Graduated from RCA Service Co and Poly Technical Institute, Tim went to work for Wagner Appliance and also had his own business in Appliance Service and Repair as Owner and Operator/Technician of TGR Appliance in North Carolina for over 35 years,
Winston-Salem knew Tim best by his willingness to help his neighbors and customers alike with their appliance repair needs. Many say he was a kind man with a gentle soul. One who would always help anyone in need.
Tim had a home that sat amongst the most beautiful pine trees inside what can only be referred to as a calming forest. He would sit inside his screened in porch with his two kitties Bub and JoJo and talk to his mother on the phone every day with birds chirping in the background, memories never to be forgotten. Tim also had a love for music and playing the drums. From an early age all the way through adulthood, Tim had drum sets in the living room and could probably be heard by all his neighbors.
He also loved to fish and take drives along the North Carolina mountain and coastal areas.
Preceding Tim in death was his father, Gabriel A. Ramos.
Tim is survived by his loving Mother, Doreen Ola Ramos and three Sisters, Debbie Mantoan, Dianna Ramos-Williams (Johnny Ray Flannery) and Kathleen Vela (Jim Vela). Nieces and Nephews, JJ Flannery, Kimberly Hayes (Anthony), Michael Williams, Alyssa Vela and Michael Mantoan. Great Nieces and Nephews Mila, Augustus, Gwenevyre, Will, Leonidas, Holden, Isalena and Kali. His dear friend Donnie and the main loves of Tim’s life ,which were his kitties, Bub and JoJo. There will always be a special place in our hearts for Tim.
