Toby Price

Born – November 10, 1929 - Died – August 26, 2018

Toby Norman Price went to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, August 26, 2018 at 10:28 p.m.

Toby was preceded in death by his wife, travel partner and great love of 52 years, Sonia, by his mother Elizabeth Price, father Toby Price, sisters Pearl and Jeanette, and his brother, Rodney. He is survived by his 4 children; daughters, Susan (Murphy) of Summerfield, FL and Lori (Dodge) of Twain, CA and sons Toby, Jr. (wife Jody) of Aromas, CA and Steven (wife Maria Isabel) of Davis and his grandchildren; Michael, Jessica, Lesley, Steven, Zachary, Adam, Luke, April and Violet.

Toby was particularly proud of his children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and of his many nieces and nephews. With his military and civilian career as an FAA certified airframe and powerplant inspector and instructor, he took his family all over the world. His love of his country (recipient of the Silver Star, Bronze Star, Distinguished Flying Cross, Commendation Metal), military history, aviation and all things automotive took second place to his love for his family. He was known for his teasing sense of humor and his ability to make people comfortable in his company.

Toby’s final resting place will be the Sacramento Valley National Cemetery at 5810 Midway Road, Dixon, CA. An ‘full honors’ memorial will be held on Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at 11:00 AM at the Sacramento Valley National Cemetery: 5810 Midway Road, Dixon, CA.
