Victoria Schlechter

Victoria Lee Schlechter, resident of Davis, California for 26 years passed away suddenly on May 4, 2008 at Sutter Davis Hospital. Vicki was born Victoria Lee Feack on February 2, 1945 in Houston, Texas to John and Fern. She graduated from UC Davis in 1967 and was known and loved by many in the Davis Community. Vicki spent much of her time volunteering in the Davis schools. She also sat on the UC Davis Alumni Board. Vicki was a dedicated member of St. Martins Episcopal Church and gave of her time to the church as a member of the flower guild and coordinated events such as church weddings. She was the Executive Director of the Construction Industry Crime Prevention Program a non profit organization in Sacramento. Vicki will always be remembered for her love of gardening and her love of flowers. Vicki is survived by her loving husband of 23 years Joe, son Jason, daughter Jennifer, mother Fern, and sister, Pam. Services will be held at St. Martins Episcopal Church in Davis on Saturday, May 17, 2008 at 11:00 a.m.
